How do I create an account in the Moving Intelligence platform?
 
  1. Go to movingintelligence.nl and click EN - Register 
  2. Fill in the details and then click Register
  3. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your email address
  4. Click the link in the confirmation email to activate your account
  5. Go to https://movingintelligence.nl/ and log in
  6. Use the activation code to add your vehicle*
  7. Select the desired services
  8. Confirm your order
  9. You will receive a confirmation email with an overview of your ordered services

 

*You will receive the activation code from your dealer or mechanic

 

I’ve created an account, but I can’t see my vehicle anywhere.

 

After creating your account you can add the vehicle using the activation code*. If you want to add more vehicles to your account, you can do so by going to Manage (Beheer) – Vehicles (Objecten) – Add vehicle (objecten toevoegen)

 

*You will receive the activation code from your dealer or mechanic

 

I’m going to sell my car – what should I do with the system?

 

Your current system can of course be transferred to your new vehicle if desired. Ask your dealer if your prospective new vehicle is also already equipped with a Moving Intelligence tracking system. If the dealer is not familiar with our product, don’t hesitate to tell us – we can then tell the dealer about our products and/or ensure that the installation work is performed – whether at your dealer’s location or at home – by a mechanic preapproved by Moving Intelligence. 

 

If your new vehicle is already fitted with a Moving Intelligence track & trace system, we would of course also like to hear this from you. We recommend that you then contact our Aftersales department. They will be able to help you with terminating the services on your old vehicle and transferring them to your system in your new vehicle using the Moving Intelligence platform.

 

If you do not want a tracking system in your new vehicle, we recommend that you cancel your subscription with us. You can cancel your subscription using the online Change Form.

Can I transfer my services to a new vehicle?

How do I cancel my services?

 

You can manage your activated services online using your personal Moving Intelligence account.  Within your Moving Intelligence account, you can go to “Shop > Buy services” to see which services are currently activated, activate extra services or turn the automatic extension of these services on and off. You can also if desired cancel your subscription by using the online Change Form. Click here to open the Change Form.

 

Do I get a refund if I cancel my services early?

 

Personal subscription, subscriptions cancelled before the end of the 1st contractual period

If you wish to prematurely terminate a personal subscription, and this subscription has been extended at least once before, then the value of the remaining subscription period will be reimbursed to you in the form of a discount code. You can use this voucher when purchasing new services for your Moving Intelligence account. That way you won’t be paying double when adding a new vehicle for the subscription period you’ve already paid for. If you do not intend to add another vehicle within a short period of time, we recommend that you contact us, because as a private individual you will be entitled to a partial refund of your already-paid subscription fees:

Business subscription and/or 1st contractual period

If you wish to prematurely terminate a business subscription and/or a subscription in its first contractual period, then the value of the remaining subscription period will be reimbursed to you in the form of a discount code. You can use this voucher when purchasing new services for your Moving Intelligence account. That way you won’t be paying double when adding a new vehicle for the subscription period you’ve already paid for. The value of the remaining months on your subscription will therefore not be reimbursed to you.

 

 

I’ve received a ‘discount code’ – what can I use it for?

 

 

You can use this discount code when purchasing new services for your (existing) Moving Intelligence account. A discount code is customer-specific, meaning that it can only be used for your own Moving Intelligence account. Discount codes are valid for a period of 2 months and are not exchangeable.

 

Please note: you can only use 1 discount code per order. In the event that the value of the discount code is higher than the total value of your order, we recommend that you instead choose a longer subscription period or activate an extra service, as any discount value remaining after use of the discount will not be reimbursed to you. 

 

I will be travelling outside of the my own country (Europe) – will my subscription costs go up?

 

No – we charge the same flat rate for our services throughout all of Europe, regardless of how often or how long you are abroad.

 

Do I have to have my SCM-certified Vehicle Tracking System regularly inspected?

 

Yes. Your insurer requires that you have your SCM tracking system inspected every year 3 years after its installation for proper functioning.

 

This involves the inspection of all components of the car alarm and tracking system. We hereby wish to call your attention to the fact that you must present your car for this inspection by 8 weeks from the date of this email. The inspection can be performed by your dealer or the SCM-certified mechanic shop where you had your system installed.

 

This periodic inspection is required by your insurer. Following the inspection you will receive a a proof of certification, which you can then present to your insurer or intermediary as evidence that your SCM certification has been extended for a year.

 

Keep and carefully archive this proof of certification document.
